The Museum of Ethnography

The Museum of Ethnography was also a new place to visit for me. The building itself will not belong to my favourite ones for sure, it is nice but too impersonal and a bit overdecorated for me. Anyway, we saw two exhibitions - the permanenet and a temporary one, entitled New Acquisitions. We were divided into two groups, each visiting one of the exhibitions, paying attention to details of the way of display and then we guided each other. I liked this idea! My only little problem was that I had to explore the permanent exhibition which was not that interesting.. There were very beautiful pieces of furniture, I loved the pairs of boots, which do look like the fashionable ones today, and I liked the photos put on the walls as decoration but the whole exhibition concerning the outlook should definitely be modernised. I was very sad that we didn't have enough time to explore the permanent exhibition we just rushed through many rooms, I would've liked to spend more time there as it seemed to be very interesting for me. I hope I can go back to check everything:)
